| On carrying away the Miss World title in 1962, Catharina Lodders, a luscious green-eyed brunette, said modestly: "I don't think I'm the most beautiful girl in the world - I am the most beautiful girl here." Holland's second Miss World winner, Catharina Lodders was already a successful fashion model and had the poise and confidence - as well as the good looks - that would set her apart from her competitors. Bob Hope was among the seven judges of Miss World 1962.
