“It is an honour for me to represent Argentina, I would have never dared to dream of this opportunity, but I think God has put me in this place for a reason, which I will find out in London. I know that my dreams can come true, and this would be a way to the hearts of millions of people who would know their dreams can come true as well.“
Yoana was born in Selva, in the province of Santiago del Estero. Now residing in the city of Rosario, Yoana is currently studying Law, with aspirations of working as a public notary after completing her education. Aside from her career path, Yoana likes to keep active, enjoying playing and watching sports, cooking, and playing the guitar. She has been schooled in traditional Argentinian folk dance since the age of 10, and she loves to listen to pop and ballad music. In her spare time she volunteers with a charity that provides assistance to the homeless, and a church which provides food and clothing for the poor and needy.
“My city, Rosario, Sante Fe, is so beautiful. Agriculture is Sante Fe’s main activity, and most people work in the field. The people are friendly, caring and simple. It is a safe place.”

I couldn’t live without Netflix. I love cinema. Also I would find it difficult to survive without Wikipedia because I have the urge of knowing new things all the time.
What is the best App you've used in the past year?
Considering that I live far from my family and many friends, I have found WhatsApp most useful.
What is your favourite fashion website?
Although I don’t have a favourite website, I do access certain sites like Vogue, Elita, Lady Lux, Christa Taylor and the Dolce & Gabbana pages quite often.
What is your most memorable encounter?
When I met the father Ignacio Peries, a Sri Lankan religious leader, now living in Argentina, who performed many miracles.
There are many authors I like, such as Jorge Luis Borges, Julio Cortázar, JK Rowling, Pablo Neruda and Suzanne Collins, but my favourite book is The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.
What annoys you most about the world you live in?
What annoys me most is injustice and poverty, which I think are closely related. That is one of the main reasons I decided to study Law.
