Agnes was born and raised in Victoria, the capital of the Seychelles. Currently working as a guest service agent, she has plans of going to university to study Law, with ambitions of becoming a lawyer in the future. She describes herself as “friendly, understanding and cheerful”, and she enjoys reading, swimming, and watching movies. Agnes enjoys reading novels by Danielle Steel, her favourite food is spicy Creole Cuisine, and she enjoys listening to classic local artists. She is also an accomplished guitarist.
A sea blue coloured gown with a wave effect reflecting the ocean ripples. The gown which is of a fishtail design is mostly hand sewn and features a single strap over the left shoulder.
Born in Mauritius but raised in Seychelles since the age of 3, Karine Dupouy is a celebrated graduate of Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London. This college formed notable Alumni such as John Galliano, Stella McCartney, Zac Possen, Gareth Pugh, Alexander McQueen and Sara Burton.
Her degree collection “Conceiling and Receiving” featuring short sleeved Kimonos and couture style dresses was inspired by the fusion of the art of the Geishas and French couture.
Having gained experience of the London, France and Italy fashion scenes with Lena Santana, Frank Sorbier and Ratti, Karine has recently launched her own brand, “KanKan” and wants to make a big contribution to the fashion world of the Seychelles.
The KanKan woman is a sophisticated and elegant dresser with a busy lifestyle who demands designs of the highest quality but yet with comfort when on holiday.
