Maja is a “charismatic, positive, and energetic person” who grew up in the border town of Miren, close to Italy. She is currently a student at the Faculty of Economics, with ambitions of starting her own beauty salon franchise. In her spare time she enjoys reading, painting, roller-skating, and collecting wild asparagus. Her proudest moment was becoming a national roller skating champion when she was 10 years old. Her favourite books are historical texts and romantic novels, and she loves chocolate.
In Her Own Words...
"I was born in 23 of January in 1989, in September, Slovenia. I grow up in Miren. I went to high school of economics in Nova Gorica and then I moved to Ljubljana to start faculty of Economics. After this I finished faculty of cosmetics. I start roller-skating when I was 5 and I was skating for 10 years. Beside this I was playing a guitar and tennis. I worked two years in a beauty salon and a few months as an ambassador of different companies. Now I would like to start my own company in cosmetic business, to help people with skin disorders.

Made of a mixture of tulle, lycra, silk and chiffon, this full length gown entitled “Save Dolphins” draws its inspiration from these marvellous animals. The white, light blue and turquoise colours represent the beauty of the sea. The gown which is of a sleeveless and backless design is decorated with Swarovski crystals and lace.
Irena Rugel Krajcer
Irena Rugel Krajcer was born on the 12th February 1986 in Moscow to a Slovenian father and Russian mother. She moved to Slovenia in 2008.
She completed a Bachelors Degree in Journalism at Moscow State Institute of relations of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia. She is fluent in Slovenian, Russian, English, Italian, Spanish and Serbo-Croatian.
Throughout her years as a student she visited several schools of art and received an award for the best painting in Russia whilst still attending secondary school.
She is also a former professional dancer (Latin and ballroom dances). She has always had a love for fashion and dresses, especially dancing dresses. She has established her own brand ‘Lucky To Wear’ aimed at women who know and feel that they are lucky to be a woman. Her brand is showcased in her own boutique in Ljubljana, Slovenia, together with several up and coming foreign designers. Among her more recent projects is the work she is doing on representing her fashion collection at Fashion Weeks in Ljubljana and Belgrade, as well as designing for dancing and training.
