Lourdes wants to be a journalist. Currently enrolled on a languages degree, she hopes to specialise in Journalism later in her educational life to gain the necessary skills to succeed. Born in the city of Ciudad Real, she currently lives on the outskirts in the town of Daimiel, and her trip to Miss World 2014 will be the first time she has left the country, although she hopes to explore the entire world in the future. In her spare time she likes to play volleyball and basketball, she is a skilled ballet and flamenco dancer, and she particularly enjoys reading romance and adventure novels.
“Spain is located in South-Western Europe and the set of mountains, beaches, islands and plains make my country the perfect destination for all people. Also we are recognised by the flamenco, the Spanish guitar, the good gastronomy, a big list of heroes, conquerors and kings, and the famous Don Quixote.”
