| Tell us about your job/studies |
| I have just completed a Bachelor of Music (Voice) and I am currently pursuing a second degree of Bachelor of Life Sciences in my final year at Queen’s University. I enjoy working as a model, because it allows me to meet and interact with many different people, and I also work part time medical assistant in a family physician’s clinic, and hope one day to open my own clinic as an occupational therapist. |

| How are you preparing for Miss World in South Africa? |
| I have been working hard with my directors in the basic areas of wardrobe, makeup, catwalk training and so on. In addition as this year’s Miss World Canada, I have been fortunate to work and fundraise for many charities in issues close to my heart. |

| What's your daily routine? |
| Every day as Miss World Canada is full of new possibilities so I don’t have a set routine. However I believe in healthy eating and sleeping habits and I like to read the news or a good novel in my daily leisure time. My family is a number one priority for me so I always try to spend some time with them as I can. |

| How do you feel about travelling to South Africa? |
| I love travelling and this being my first visit to SA, I am very excited to explore the different cities and experience a whole new culture! |

| Which elements of Miss World are you most looking forward to? |
| I am most excited to have the opportunity to represent my country in such a prestigious competition. I’m looking forward to meeting and learning many new things from so many beautiful and talented girls from all over the world, and I look forward to our new adventures in South Africa together! |

| Do you have a message to the other Miss World contestants? |
| The very best of luck to all the girls and remember, “Believe you can and you’re half way there” – T. Roosevelt. |

| What do you think are you qualities that youwill bring to the competition? |
| I’m fortunate to live in a country where diversity is not only accepted but celebrated; we Canadians are warm and welcoming to everyone. To love and accept others is the ideal that Miss World embodies as well. I will also bring with me the gifts my parents have given me: charisma, positivity, compassion and determination. |

| What individual talents will seperate you from the other contestants? |
| My many years dedicated to training as a classical singer; I have worked diligently and consistently for the last twelve years to improve my craft. This is the level of dedication which makes me unique. I hope my voice and love for music will inspire and bring joy to others! |

| What would it mean to you to do well at Miss World? |
| Doing well at Miss World would be wonderful, because it would be the best way for me to say thank you to everyone that has helped and supported me. Becoming the first Canadian Miss World, would give me the chance of a life time to make a positive contribution to the world. |
|
| What is your favourite landmark? |
| The CN Tower—as one of the tallest structures in the world, it represents the pride of Canada. It attracts over two million visitors annually including climbers such as myself in fundraising for United Way. |
|
| What is the one thing you cannot live without? |
| My morals; they are the sole foundation of who I am as a person. |
|
| Who do you most admire? |
| Helen Keller, for her determination and unbreakable spirit despite her handicaps. When life presents me with challenges I think of her, her life and her accomplishments, and find strength to overcome them. |

| Who has inspired you most in your life? |
| My mother, she is my role model, my support system and my best friend. |
