Chika hails from the city of Niigata on the North West coast of Honsho Island. Currently at University, Chika is studying International Culture & Psychology, but her dream is to become an actress. Already working in the fashion industry in her spare time Chika is also taking acting lessons to help her achieve her career goals. Very much in tune with Japanese culture, Chika likes to listen to J-pop music and her favourite cuisine is Japanese. Her hobbies include basketball, dancing and practicing calligraphy, and she has a pet dog.

Designer dress - Tokyo Soir
This one shoulders gown has a tightly fitted bodice embellished heavily with Swarovski crystals in sweet pink and gold which fade out down the skirt.~ Featuring a large leg slit, this full length Tokyo Soir dress is followed by a half skirt and train which starts from the waist.
Established in 1969, Tokyo Soir is the top manufacture of women's formal wear in Japan. They have been playing a central role in creating new culture ideas in Japan over the years and expanded the business by introducing the development of black formal wear, colourful formal wear and accessories.
Auction Gift - Hagoromo Angel
"Hagoromo" Angel its a piece made of Tesuki Mino Washi (Handmade Japanese paper) by the Artist Yumiko Kiminami. Tesuki Mino Washi is a type of Japanese paper created in Gifu, Prefecture and its consider a cultural tradition of great national importance. This type of paper is hand-made by a craftsman one piece at a time. Whilst the process of extracting the fibers from the mulberry plants used as raw materials is very dynamic, the later stages of production such as forming the paper into scrolls are very delicate. The fibers of mulberry plants are ephemeral and beautiful which creates a warm and tender sensation.

What would be your dream job?
International acclaimed actress.
If you could work with any fashion designer, who would it be and why?
Yumi Katsura fashion. She is one of the top Japanese designers as well as being known internationally.

Why did you enter Miss World?
I have been a victim of an earthquake twice, so I have felt how important receiving aid is, and through Miss World, I would like to return my appreciation and help others.
