“Hello & Welcome! I’m thrilled to represent my country Mongolia at Miss World 2015. Even though I represent a small nation of three million people, with your help, I’m ready to represent seven billion people!”

Anu was born and raised in Mongolia’s capital Ulaanbaatar, the oldest child in her family. A Graphic Design graduate, Anu has a career in graphic design, as well as commitments with NGOs, providing medical assistance and education on health and women’s rights. She hopes to be a role model for generations to come. In her spare time Anu likes to ride horses, she enjoys Mongolian folk dancing, drawing and writing poems. When it comes to food, nothing beats her mother’s cooking; healthy, nutritious and protein rich Mongolian cuisine.

“Mongolia is a country with a unique culture of nomadic life and untamed nature, where you can experience endless green steppes, cobalt blue sky, mighty mountain ranges, breath-taking deserts, crystal clear rivers and the traditional hospitality of the nomads.”

What’s your current favourite website?

My current favourite website is That is the Mongolian first portal website and users can get daily news, weather alerts, entertainment and many other things from one place.

If you could invite anyone (living or historic) to dinner, who would it be and why?

I’d like to have dinner with Angelina Jolie. As we all know, not only is she a great beauty, but also she is famous for her humanitarian work. She uses her resources and fame to help children and women who are in need. I think she is one of the most beautiful souls in the world.

What would be your dream job?

I want to become a world famous humanitarian who inspires and fights for equality and supports women’s rights.

If you could work with any fashion designer, who would it be and why?

During my participation in Singapore’s “Haute Couture” fashion week, I was privileged to wear a wonderful design and to bring life to it on the stage. The piece was made by renowned Chinese designer Guo Pei. Her designs are very elegant and tell a great story. It was a pleasure to work with her and I would happily do it again.

What item of make-up could you not live without?

I can’t live without lipstick. I think lips are the most powerful weapon of a women’s beauty.

Mac or PC?

Sweet or Savory?

Both. I enjoy both flavours.

If you could have any super power, what would it be and why?

I’d like to have the powers of Captain Planet; healing, mending and resurrecting the Mother Earth. I’d heal all the wounds and mend all the undone things.

Which Challenge Events do you feel most confident about?

I feel most confident about the Top Model Challenge as I have 5 years of working experience and participated in many modelling contests in Asia with great success.

Why did you enter Miss World?

Ever since I was a little girl, I dreamt of representing my home country at Miss World. Now I have the opportunity to fulfil my dream. Participating in Miss World, I will be one step closer to achieving my goal which is to become role model for young girls. This contest will enrich my life and I will gain valuable experience. Fulfilling my dream, gaining experience and sharing what I learned with others are my main purpose of entering Miss World.
