Sherika describes herself as ‘A joyful, positive and spontaneous person.’ Born and raised in the capital Montevideo, Sherika is a student working part time as a model. A fan of the industry, she hopes to broaden her skills and work as a fashion designer and journalist in the future, once she finishes her studies. Sherika loves music and dancing, performing flamenco and ballet, and listening to bachata and electro music. In her spare time she enjoys keeping herself in shape at the gym, gazing at the stars at night and seeing the world on her travels.

If you could invite anyone (living or historic) to dinner, who would it be and why?
Blanca Luz Brum. She was a Uruguayan poet who was socially and politically engaged. I admire her because she is part of the intellectual and artistic heritage of my country.
What would be your dream job?
A fashion designer and travel the world innovating trends.
If you could work with any fashion designer, who would it be and why?
I would love to work with D&G designers. These designs are dazzling and very fine. My liking is particularly inspired by the prestigious history of Italian cinema.

If you could have any super power, what would it be and why?
To fly, because then I would truly feel free.

Sports and dance.
Why did you enter Miss World?
I want to promote cultural exchange, make a commitment to work for a charitable cause with children.
