Yesterday I arrived in Los Angeles, the home of movies and entertainment, and I was very excited to be here!
After breakfast this morning, I went on a sightseeing tour around the whole of L.A. We visited Beverly Hills, Rodeo Drive, The Farmers’ Market, Hollywood, The Chinese Theatre, Venice Beach, Santa Monica and The Walk of Fame.
It was really cool to see Venice Beach. Even though it was windy weather, and the waves were huge, there were still people surfing! We went to Santa Monica too, and my tour guide told me that is where they filmed Baywatch.
After my tour we went to an Ice Hockey game in the evening. The L.A. Kings were playing against the New York Rangers in the Staples Centre stadium, in downtown L.A. It’s also the stadium where the L.A. Lakers basketball team plays their home matches.
The atmosphere was amazing and I was cheering on the Kings with the home crowd. I’ve never seen an Ice Hockey game before and it was amazing, definitely the highlight of my stay so far. The Kings won the game 2-1 and the crowd went wild, someone told me they have won their last 6 games now! I’d love to come and see them play again.
