Vanya Peneva was crowned Miss Bulgaria 2011.

The National Final took place on Monday, 27 June 2011 at one of the biggest TV studios at Novi Khan, near Sofia.  The Gala ceremony was broadcasted live on the national channel TV7.

The first runner-up was Olga Modeva, 17 years old followed by the second runner-up - Denitza Stoyanova, 20 years old.

The winner Vanya Peneva, 23 years old, tall 1, 74 m., will represent Bulgaria at Miss World 2011. She studies Bulgarian Philology at the Sofia University.  Vanya enjoys literature and her favourite novel is “Anna Karenina” by the Russian writer Leo Tolstoy.
