The island of Curacao has crowned its new representative for Miss World 2011.

17 year old Monifa Jansen will represent her island.  She stands 1.74 m tall and aspires to become a successful business woman. Monifa enjoys a range of sports including track and field, volley ball and swimming.

After graduating, she hopes to go on to study International Law at the University of Maastricht in Europe.
