Tania Bambaci, 21 year-old from Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto (Messina - Sicily) is the brand new Miss Italy 2011. Black haired, sicilian, 183 cm high, the beautiful Miss who succeed Giada Pezzaioli, will represent Italy at the 2011 Miss World Final, which is to be held the next 6th November in London, UK.

Tania was crowned the last Saturday 11th June, after the Italian final which was attended by 52 contestants. The Italian final took place in the wonderful sea port area "Bleu Salento" in Gallipoli, in front of a charming Ionian Sea. The entire stalls and the seats reserved to vips and authorities were crowded, more than 5.000 people and many political, sporting figures and also personalities from the show business and the journalism atteded.

Tania is 183 cm high, she has dark-brown hair and big dark eyes. She is a model student of foreign languages at the University of Pisa, and she speaks fluently, in addition to Italian, English and Spanish. Moreover, she takes singing lessons, practises regularly physical exercise and sport, and she leads an healthy way of life. Her favourite writer is Oriana Fallaci, the last book she read was "Letter to a child never born" (original title "Lettera ad un bambino mai nato") and she is a big supporter of A.C. Milan.
