“Miss Lithuania 2011” final was held on 6th July in the most popular Lithuanian resort, on the Baltic Sea, called Palanga. The date to crown the Lithuanian beauty was picked because it is symbolic to our country for the following reasons; the 6th July is a national Lithuanian holiday, as historically this is the day, when the first and only Lithuanian King Mindaugas was crowned.

Final event was a great success, the hall was crowded with those who attended the event in Palanga and many people watched the live broadcast on “Lietuvos rytas TV”.

During the show public was entertained by well known Lithuanian singers, who performed famous songs and unusual duets and trios.

The fourteen girls where competing for six nominations: “Miss Photo 2011”, “Miss Elegance 2011”, “Miss Grace 2011”, “Miss Public 2011”, “Miss Lithuania 1-st runner-up” and of course the main title “Miss Lithuania 2011”.

“Miss Lithuania 2011” was announced.....21 years old Ieva Gervisnkaite, who was crowned by “Miss Lithuania 2010” Grite Maruskeviciute.

The “1-st runner-up” was Greta Savickyte (19 years old).
