On the 10th September 2011, Yaroslava Kuryacha was crowned the Ukrainian national finalist at a pagent held at the Ukrainian National Palace of Arts in Kiev, Ukraine.

The first runner-up was Alona Sendetsk and the second runner-up was Dayna Musiyenko.

Yaroslava is 19 years old and from the town of Vinnitsa, Ukraine.

She is a student at the National Academy of Culture and Arts.
