Sara Manchipp was crowned Miss Wales 2011 during a glittering ceremony held at St David’s Hall, Cardiff on the 2nd July 2011.

The 21 year old A Level student was chosen from among 50 girls to represent her country in the Miss World Contest to be held in London.

Sara, a fluent Welsh speaker was crowned in front of an audience of about 1000 people.

Jenny Dobson came in second place whilst Alice Watkins finished in third place.
