Sophie Moulds will represent Wales at the 2012 Miss World in Ordos, Inner Mongolia.

The 19 year old student from Ferndale was crowned at a glittering ceremony at St David’s Hall, Cardiff on 14th April 2012.

As part of the grand final the contestants competed in three catwalk rounds in front of a panel of judges, including a party wear round, Welsh wear round and evening wear round.

The event raised over £40,000 for charity as part of Miss World’s commitment to Beauty with a Purpose.
