This evening, Chairwoman of the Miss World Organisation Mrs Julia Morley, addressed the 122 contestants in preparation for their exciting journey to Scotland tomorrow.
Mrs Morley thanked each and every contestant for being present and talked about the wonderful opportunity they have to promote their country and improve the lives of disadvantaged people all around the world.
She highlighted the unique nature of the contest that unites 122 nations under one roof, eating the same food and building strong friendships.
Beauty with a Purpose is at the core of Miss World as explained by Julia Morley – ‘every beautiful woman must have a purpose, make your time worth-while.’
Current Miss World, Alexandra Mills smiled in the audience as Mrs Morley discussed details of their trip to Kenya, along with first and second runners up Emma Wareus and Adriana Vasini.
The contestants clapped their Chairwoman as she wished them all good luck and exclaimed how proud she is of each and every one of them.
