Miss Scotland, Jennifer Reoch, recently took on the challenge of a lifetime when she managed to reach the summit of Africa's highest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro. All in aid of raising funds for her chosen charity. As a team they managed to raise well over the original target of £100,000!

Jennifer said "I'm ecstatic that we reached the summit and more importantly raised so much money for the charity! It was tough at times but that feeling of reaching the summit was without doubt worth it!" It took the team five and a half days to reach the summit and took a mere day and half to descend - the allure of a shower after 7 days on the mountain clearly got the team to the bottom very quickly indeed!
