25th June Patrick Viera’s African charity

Manchester City player and France World Cup winner Patrick Vieira held a special reception at the SAS Radisson Blu Gauteng to raise awareness for his African football charity, Dimabars.

The Miss World representatives who are staying in South Africa to cheer on their teams at the World Cup were invited along as special guests.

The Diambars (meaning Champions) Academy aims to give talented young footballers from Viera’s native Senegal an opportunity to follow in his footsteps by honing their football skills whilst gaining an education.
