21st of November 2011 From Hola to Hello....

Since being crowned Miss World 2011 on November 6th, Ivian Sarcos of Venezuela has been a very busy young lady. Each morning Ivian attends an English teaching school near to where she is staying in London, spending four hours a day in an intense English class learning the language at a rapid pace.

We at Miss World are extremely impressed at Ivian’s willingness to learn – she bounds into the office keen to converse with us in English. This passion benefits the speed at which she is learning and we see improvement every day. Keep up the good work!

Ivian is to return home to Venezuela at the end of the month where she will be greeted by a very proud Nation.  She then embarks on her ‘Beauty with a Purpose’ journey around the world in the New Year, which she is incredibly excited about.

‘Getting home and seeing my people, for me, is the first part of this journey. After that, I can begin helping all those disadvantaged people around the world and raise money for good causes. My aim is to raise a record amount,’ explains Ivian.
