12th April 2010 Final shown over holiday weekend

Miss World 2010 was repeated on CCTV2 at the weekend as part of the station's broadcasting over the annual Qingming festival holidays. The repeat broadcast was shown in honour of Chairman of Miss World Organisation Julia Morley's recent recognition by the government for her work in China at the Golden Paulownia Awards in Beijing on 31st March.

The final was originally broadcast live from the Beauty Crown Theatre, Sanya, China on 30th October 2010, but this was another chance to watch the whole show and see Alexandria Mills crowned the 60th Miss World. Meanwhile, Miss World 2007 Zhang Zilin's debut feature film, "Underdog Knight 2" is still in the Chinese box office top 5 after its first two weeks on release. With a total of 14 new films entering the charts over the Qingming festival, it is doing particularly well during the holiday period.
