Lindsay Japal Crowned Miss Cayman Islands

On September 24, 2011, at the Lions' Community Centre in George Town, Cayman Islands, Lindsay Japal competed against nine other hopefuls to be crowned Miss Cayman Islands.

The 23-year old, 5’8” beauty received the title for ‘Best Smile’ and ‘Best in Gown’ on the night.

Since completing an Associate degree in Business Administration from the University College of the Cayman Islands, Lindsay is now working towards a Bachelors degree in Finance with a minor in Marketing from the same University.

Newly crowned Miss Cayman Islands says "I am overwhelmed and excited but I am ready to do what I need to do to make my island proud” and promises to use the crown to support the Central Caribbean Marine Institute who oversee ecology and sustainability on the island.
