Jennifer Reoch begins her challenge of a lifetime

Miss Scotland 2011, Jennifer Reoch has just embarked on the challenge of a lifetime. She has flown to Tanzania and will be climbing Mount Kilimanjaro for her ‘Tiara Appeal’ to raise money for research into Parkinson's disease.

The peak of Mount Kilimanjaro is 19,341ft above sea level.  It is the highest mountain in Africa and whilst the base of the mountain is tropical forest, the peak is covered by ice cap.
