April 16th Katharine appears on TV show and at novel launch

Newly crowned Miss UK Katharine Brown was in London this week appearing as a special guest on TV show Market Kitchen and attending the launch of Martel Maxwell’s debut novel Scandalous.

Katharine chatted to the chefs on Market Kitchen explaining a bit about her time at Miss World 2009 and her new title of Miss UK. After seeing the rival chefs in action, Katharine had to judge which dessert she enjoyed the most.

Scottish columnist and presenter Martel Maxwell also invited Katharine to the star-studded launch of her novel Scandalous at the Groucho Club, central London on Tuesday evening. Katharine said “It was really good to be supporting a friend and fellow Scot! I’m really pleased for Martel and I’m excited to be down here in London.
