1st November 2011 Miss World 2011 Contestants see the London Eye

On Monday morning the Miss World 2011 contestants enjoyed an early morning on the iconic tourist attraction, the London Eye.

It was a chance for the contestants to be interviewed by national and international press who are greatly interested in this year's Miss World UK tour.

One full turn of the great wheel takes 30 minutes which meant the contestants had time to absorb the wonderful sights of our Capital city from a great height.

The London eye is located along the southbank of the River Thames. The girls had a chance to have photographic shots against the backdrop of the many historical buildings that line the river bank, such as the Houses of Parliament.
