June 28th Miss World crowns winner

Miss World Kaiane Aldorino had an emotional return to Gibraltar on Saturday for the national final. One year ago Kaiane was crowned as Gibraltar’s Miss World representative before going all the way to win one of the world’s most prestigious titles – Miss World.

Kaiane looked spectacular in her two evening dresses, the first a silvery floor length gown which she wore when she was introduced to the audience. The second was a stunning blue and white evening dress which she changed into for the crowning moment.

The new Gibraltar representative for Miss World is twenty three year old Larissa Dalli. She said “It is an honour to be crowned by the reigning Miss World and to be able to represent my country abroad”.

Kaiane Aldorino commented “It was a great feeling to be here at the Gibraltar Final and the memories from last year came flooding back. All the girls did so well and I’d like to wish Larissa the best of luck.”
