6th June Alexandria Mills crowns winner Astrid Ellena

Miss World Alexandria Mills was the special guest of the 2011 Indonesia Final held at the Central Park Ballroom in Jakarta on Friday 3rd June. Thirty-three contestants took part, but it was Astrid Ellena, 20, from East Java who took the title, crowned by Miss World and Indonesia 2010 Asyifa Latief. Fluent in English, Chinese and Spanish, Astrid was joined in the top three by Nadya Siddiqa of Banten, and Amanda Roberta of West Papua. Astrid will now represent Indonesia at the 61st Miss World Final, to be held in London on November 6th.

Earlier, Alexandria was also a guest on RCTI music TV show Dahsyat, and joined the finalists the day after the final at a farewell lunch before heading to Bali for the remainder of the Indonesia visit.
