May 21st Kaiane arrives in Los Angeles

Reining Miss World Kaiane Aldorino touched down in Hollywood yesterday in preparation for the Variety International Conference.

During the five day conference there will be a number of awards and dinner events, culminating in the Humanitarian Awards where X factor and American Idol star Simon Cowell will be honoured.

On her first night Kaiane attended a welcome party on the rooftop of the hotel, where Miss World 2002 Azra Akin from Turkey was also in attendance.

Kaiane said "it is a very exciting place to be. The hotel where the Variety conference is held is right in the centre of Hollywood. it was lovely to talk to Azra who shared her experience of winning Miss World eight years ago."
