10th June Representatives in SABC studios, Johannesburg

The Miss World team representatives headed straight for the studio as they arrived in Johannesburg, South Africa for this year’s soccer World Cup. They were taken to the SABC television studios in Sandton Convention Centre, Johannesburg, to begin rehearsals for tomorrow’s official opening ceremony.

The representatives will feature in the SABC television coverage of the official opening ceremony which takes place before South Africa take on Mexico at the Soccer City Stadium, Johannesburg, in the first match of the tournament.

Perla Beltran (Mexico) said “We are all here now and just can’t wait until the tournament begins tomorrow!”
