Alexandria Mills invited to speak at renowned society


Miss World Alexandria Mills has been invited by to speak at the Cambridge Union Society tonight. Alexandria will be joined by Miss World Africa Emma Wareus to speak about her experiences as Miss World at the world's oldest and most prestigious debating society, and the largest society at the University of Cambridge.

Founded in 1815, the Cambridge Union has hosted famous national and international figures for many years. Past speakers to have addressed the Union include Archbishop Desmond Tutu, actor and director Clint Eastwood, Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill, US President Theodore Roosevelt, and Professor Stephen Hawking. Miss World 2003 First Runner-Up Nazanin Afshin-Jam was invited to speak at the Cambridge Union in 2004, and has since become a prominent human rights activist and international public speaker.
