5th January Miss World is main attraction in Gibraltar’s annual Three Kings’ Cavalcade Parade

The traditional Three Kings’ Cavalcade Parade will be held this evening and new Miss World, Kaiane Aldorino will be the star attraction. The parade is one of Gibraltar’s biggest events on the social calendar and has been taking place there for over 50 years.

Miss World will be travelling in a customized, open-top float and dressed in national costume – designed for her by Dorcas, for the Miss World Final.

The parade is due to start at 7.30pm from Casemates, before proceeding along Main Street. As well as Miss World’s float, ten other spectacular floats are expected to take part, as thousands of people come to join in the celebrations.

There will also be three bands playing including the Royal Gibraltar Regiment Band.

“It will be an honour to take part in this special event. The parade is very popular here in Gibraltar and I have my fingers crossed it’s not going to rain!” Kaiane said.
