Miss World is set to travel across Asia to the Americas on her second official overseas visit.
Brunei is located on the north coast of the island of Borneo, in Southeast Asia. Kaiane will stay there for several days. She will attend the ATF Annual Tourism Conference as a special guest, where the focus will be on conserving the environment.
While in Asia, she will also be visiting Hong Kong China. Situated on China's south coast and enclosed by the Pearl River Delta and South China Sea, Hong Kong is renowned for its expansive skyline and deep natural harbour.
Miss World will then travel to Vancouver, Canada where she will be a special guest, accompanying Julia Morley, Chairman of Miss World and International President of Variety, the Children’s Charity, for the annual Variety Show of Hearts Telethon.
The Show of Hearts Telethon is an annual two day event that airs for 23 straight hours on TV. One of the biggest fundraisers in Canada, last year’s Telethon raised over 8 million dollars. The Telethon features entertainment from world renowned musicians and performers while also sharing the moving stories of children who have been helped by Variety, the Children’s Charity.
Miss World will be special guest in a broadcast featuring Paul McCartney, Tina Turner, Stevie Wonder, VH1 Divas and Cirque du Soleil.
And as if that wasn’t exciting enough, Miss World will finish the tour with a visit to Los Angeles where she will be shown around Hollywood and the surrounding area.
Kaiane said "I can't believe I'm going on tour again so soon after coming back from Japan and Korea. Brunei looks like an amazing place and I am very interested in conserving our planet. I'm also excited about the Show of Hearts Telethon in Vancouver. Let's hope we can beat last year's total and raise as much money as possible for Variety, the Children's Charity".
