14th February At the Variety Charity Gala Dinner

It is a month since Miss World Alexandria Mills visited the children of Buffalo who have been supported by Variety, The Children's Charity. Here is a selection of new photographs taken from the Variety Charity Gala Dinner, all proceeds of which will be added to the total at the forthcoming 49th Annual Variety Kids Telethon to be held on 6th March. It was also a chance for 2011 Variety Kids Telethon Celebrity Child Gracie Joyce to meet Alexandria and Miss World Africa Emma Wareus. During their trip, Alexandria and Emma had visited the Women and Children's Hospital of Buffalo, which had received support from Variety, and where Gracie had received care. To mark the occasion, Alexandria gave little Gracie the honour of wearing the Miss World crown, the symbol of fundraising for "Beauty with a Purpose", and the Miss World sash. It was a very special moment for a very special girl!
