15th June Representatives get VIP treatment

Miss World representatives from Netherlands and Denmark watched their two soccer teams battle it out in style as they were each given VIP tickets to the match.

Francis Beukeveld (Netherlands) and Trine Nielsen (Denmark) enjoyed the game with other VIP guests including sports personalities and celebrities at the Johannesburg Soccer City Stadium on Monday 14th June. In an entertaining game the Netherlands triumphed 2-0 over the underdogs Denmark.

Francis Beukeveld from Netherlands commented “The whole of the Netherlands will be proud of how the team played. I really think they can go far in the competition now!”

Denmark’s Trine Nielsen said “It was a shame that Denmark lost, but the atmosphere was fantastic and the whole team put in a great effort”.
