5th July Miss World representatives cheer on teams

There was celebration for some and heartache for others this weekend as the Miss World representatives watched the FIFA World Cup quarter finals.

Unfortunately for Argentina, Ghana, Brazil and Paraguay the journey ended at the last eight but Spain, Uruguay, Netherlands and Germany celebrated their teams getting through to the semi-finals.

GERMANY	4~0	ARGENTINA	Argentina were comprehensively defeated by Germany who will now play Spain.
URUGUAY	1~1	GHANA	Uruguay overcame Ghana in a penalty shoot out after the teams drew 1-1. Ghana were the only African team left in the tournament.
BRAZIL	1~2	NETHERLANDS	Brazil were winning at half time but let in two second half goals to crash out of the tournament, losing 2-1 to the Netherlands.
SPAIN	1~0	PARAGUAY	Spain narrowly overcame Paraguay to reach the semi finals.
