Supporting Zimbabwe's Children

Bongani Dlakama, the national representative of the African nation of Zimbabwe in the Miss World 2012 contest chose to centre her ‘Beauty with a Purpose’ work on providing support to children’s homes and hospitals.

As the national representative of Zimbabwe, Bongani took on the task of addressing the needs of underprivileged children living in these institutions, and worked hard alongside other representatives from the Miss Zimbabwe organisation delivering groceries, stationery and televisions.

The food and electrical supplies which were donated by various benevolent corporations went a long way in putting smiles on the faces of the children and the people who dedicate their lives caring for them.
